Turn Your Tax Liability Into a Donation
The Florida Strong Families Tax Credit was established in 2021 to support eligible charitable organizations. Operation Healing Forces is honored to be one of only a select few organizations in the state approved as a designated charity. Under the program, corporate taxpayers can make private monetary contributions to a designated charitable organization and receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against the following Florida taxes (application date January 2, 2026):
- Corporate income tax
- Gas and oil production severance tax
- Insurance premium tax
- Use tax due under a direct pay permit
- Certain excise taxes
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
You can make a charitable donation to support our nation’s Tip of the Spear families through Operation Healing Forces, offsetting your corporation’s tax liability.
If the Florida Legislature and Governor DeSantis reauthorizes the program and maintains its funding, $40 million will be available to corporations to apply for under the Strong Families Tax Credit beginning at 9am on January 2, 2026. The funds are allocated on a “first come, first serve” basis and historically, the available funds are claimed very quickly (minutes/hours vs days/weeks). Please mark your calendars to go online and reserve an allocation on behalf of Operation Healing Forces on January 2, 2026.

Our Guiding Principles
STEP 1
APPLY FOR TAX CREDIT APPROVAL
Visit the Florida Department of Revenue: Click HERE Select “Strong Families Tax Credit” Complete and submit your application.
Wait for approval (usually a few days). You must be approved before donating!
STEP 2
MAKE YOUR DONATION
After receiving your tax credit approval, submit your contribution to Operation Healing Forces.
STEP 3
RECEIVE YOUR CERTIFICATE
You’ll receive your Certificate of Contribution showing your donation was made. Your tax credit is not final until you receive this certificate.
