Courtney Bilyeu is a proud Tampa resident, passionate advocate for the Special Operations Forces (SOF) community, and dedicated nonprofit leader. Raised in a Navy family and a graduate of Copenhagen International School, Courtney brings a global perspective rooted in service and resilience. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from James Madison University, where she was a proud member of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority.
Since moving to Tampa in 2012 with her husband Allan—a retired Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel—Courtney has become deeply woven into the fabric of the local community. Her professional background as a Defense Contractor since 1999, combined with decades of leadership in volunteer service, showcases her unwavering commitment to both mission and people.
Courtney’s nonprofit work spans a wide range of causes. She has served as the Tampa Co-Chair of the Green Beret Foundation, has served on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida and has held several leadership roles within The Junior League of Tampa, including serving on the Executive Board and leading the League’s largest fundraiser, the Holiday Gift Market. She has also served on the Board of the MacDill Spouses’ Club, further deepening her ties to the military community.
She and Allan are members of the Our Lady of the Bay congregation and enjoy traveling and volunteering.
