Brock Miller Joins Operation Healing Forces’ National Advisory Council
Tampa, FL – Operation Healing Forces (OHF) proudly announces the appointment of Brock Miller to its National Advisory Council. Miller brings a distinguished record of leadership in the financial sector and a deep personal commitment to supporting the Veteran and Special Operations Forces community. His addition strengthens the Council’s ability to guide OHF’s mission of serving Special Operations Forces (SOF) service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers.
Miller currently serves as Senior Vice President and Incoming Chief Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Officer for Raymond James Financial. In this role, he oversees AML, Economic Sanctions, and Fraud Risk Management programs across the United States, Canada, and Europe. Since joining Raymond James in 2015, he has helped build and lead the firm’s global AML and Financial Crimes Program, growing the team from fewer than ten associates to more than two hundred worldwide.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Miller worked with Ernst and Young advising major financial institutions on AML and Financial Crimes program design and regulatory response. He also serves on several internal advisory councils focused on strengthening organizational culture, and he is an active supporter of the firm’s Veterans Inclusion Network, VALOR. Although not a veteran himself, he is deeply committed to helping veterans successfully transition to civilian life and gain critical financial literacy skills.
Miller shared, “Joining Operation Healing Forces is truly an honor and allows me to bring my financial expertise and passion to supporting the Veteran community. OHF separates itself from other charities by focusing their efforts on helping Special Operation Forces active-duty service members and veterans with a unique focus on supporting the holistic well-being of the individual and their family. When I learned about the positive impacts from the Therapeutic Retreats facilitated by OHF, I knew that I needed to be a part of the mission.”
Kerry Irvin, Chief Executive Officer of Operation Healing Forces, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Brock to our National Advisory Council. His exceptional leadership, strong analytical lens, and unwavering compassion reflect the very best of what we strive for at OHF. Brock has made a remarkable impact in the financial world, and we are grateful that he is choosing to invest that expertise into helping us strengthen the lives of SOF families nationwide.”
Tony Markel, Vice Chairman of the OHF Board of Directors, added, “Brock brings the kind of integrity, intellect, and heart that elevates our entire organization. His commitment to supporting those who have served and sacrificed is clear, and his experience will be invaluable as we continue expanding programs that keep our SOF warriors and their families strong.”
